For over a century, the magnificent beachfront retreat known as C'Roque has remained under the ownership of the Fernandes family, passing down from one generation to the next. It all began with Roque Fernandes, whose vision brought C'Roque Resort to life in the early 1980s when Colva Beach was still a hidden gem cherished by hippies. As the 90s unfolded, C'Roque emerged as the vibrant heart of Colva Beach, capturing the devotion of our esteemed guests who continue to return year after year, indulging in long stretches of relaxation on our deck chairs. The name ‘C'Roque’ itself is a beautiful fusion of Cynthia and Roque, the beloved founders of this cherished property.
Following Roque's passing in 2000, the Fernandes family united to carry forward the legacy of C'Roque. Roque's son, John, took the reins and embarked on a transformative journey to meet the needs of modern travelers while infusing the property with his own distinct style, all while preserving its inherent character.
